“If It’s Not A Blessing, It’s A Lesson”
If life has taught you anything, it’s that when you plan for something, and it doesn’t turn out how you planned, it’s because there is something else out there waiting for you. Something better than what you thought you wanted, but that only shows up when the first thing doesn’t work out.
You don’t know what your next step is until you take this one. You have to learn how to let go of the things that don’t work out and focus on the things that do. You have to trust that everything happens for a reason and that there are no mistakes in life — just lessons.
When we plan for something, but it doesn’t turn out how we planned. Yet, we learned a valuable lesson from it. We can’t predict the future. We can only impact the present moment with our actions and reactions. The past is behind us and there’s nothing we can do to change it but learn from it. The future is ahead of us and unknown — and if you think about it, that’s scary! We don’t know what’s going to happen next or what challenges will be thrown at us.
But here’s the thing: the way you react to those challenges is what will make all the difference in your life. So don’t let yourself get caught up in worry or fear about what could go wrong; instead, focus on what you can do right now to improve your life and help others along the way. That way no matter what happens next week or next month, you’ll have already made strides toward accomplishing your goals today!
There’s a saying: It’s not the destination that matters, it’s the journey. I think this applies to our lives in so many ways, but especially when it comes to planning our futures. When we plan for something and it doesn’t turn out how we expected, it can seem like a huge failure. But I would argue that if you view it as a lesson instead of a failure, then you’re already halfway there. “IF IT’S NOT A BLESSING, IT’S A LESSON”. Learn from mistakes, and press on.
