Why Shouldn’t We Fear Death?
Moving Forward
Death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life. We all want to live forever, but in order to do that, we must first die. This life is just a temporary journey, a chance for us to learn and grow.
Through the adversities we face, our spirit is strengthened. By turning to prayer and meditation, we can clear our thoughts and fortify our faith. Death should not be feared, for our loved ones are waiting for us on the other side to welcome us into eternity.
During out life time here on earth, we are going to meet people that we are going to connect to, and some we might dislike or give us hardship. It is from moments of adversities that we learn and grow, not from the great or celebrated moments. Expressing “Gratitude” is a way of acknowledging our blessings and great moments. Every morning, I pray and mediate, and always start with gratitude. Just knowing that the lord has given me one more day to live is a blessing. I pray for love ones and friends that have passed away. One day, I know I will be opening my eyes in heaven, and not the physical world.

Remember, we are just passing through this world. Each challenge we overcome brings us one step closer to the eternal life that awaits. Embrace this journey, and find solace in the knowledge that there is so much more beyond this mortal existence. Think about it, the same way we feel tired after a long day of work and need rest, our spirits after a long journey, needs rest as well.
As we journey through life, it’s important to remember that our time here is finite. While the prospect of our own mortality can be daunting, it also serves as a powerful reminder to make the most of the days we’ve been given. One of the most meaningful things we can do is to strive to do the right thing, even when it’s difficult. This means treating others with kindness and compassion, even when they may not have been good to us. An act of forgiveness or an unexpected gesture of goodwill can go a long way in inspiring others and leaving a positive mark on the world.
It’s also crucial that we take the time to build meaningful memories and let go of any resentment or baggage that may be weighing us down. By humbling ourselves and focusing on the things that truly matter, we can find a sense of peace and purpose in our lives.
Ultimately, this journey before death is not about perfection, but about striving to be the best versions of ourselves and making a positive difference, however small, in the lives of those around us.
Final Thoughts
I have written a few spiritual articles in my blog, but this one has been the most nostalgic feeling. My inspiration on writing this article about “death” has been about thinking of all the friends and love ones who have passed and are no longer with us, especially my father. As we reflect on the fragility of life, let us be reminded to live each day with humility and gratitude. While the manner of our passing may difficult to family members, the legacy we leave behind through our actions and the lives we touch will be what endures.
Rather than focus on the unknown of how we might depart this world, let us instead strive to be kind, to inspire others, and to make the most of the time we’ve been given. People will not remember you on how you died, but how you lived your life, that will define the mark we leave on this earth.
Each moment is a precious gift – may we approach it with reverence, using our time to uplift and serve those around us. In doing so, we can build a lasting legacy that transcends the finality of death and live on through the positive impact we’ve made. There is a saying that says, “Live your life to the fullest, because you only live once”. I say, “YOU LIVE EVERYDAY, YOU ONLY DIE ONCE”. So, live your life to the fullest. My every day motto: “Everyday, is a holy day”.
