Soul’s Calling vs The Call of Your Soul
Knowing the difference between your soul’s calling and the calling of your soul is an important part of personal and spiritual growth. The call of your soul is an invitation to personal transformation, while the soul’s calling is about bringing your unique virtues and skills to serve others.
The desire to use our talents to make a difference in the world is fulfilling. But if we’re not careful, we can lose sight of the deeper work our souls are calling us to do. The soul’s calling is about our own inner journey, the process of becoming more fully ourselves.
The calling of your soul is a gentle, a persistent invitation to grow and step into your authentic self. It’s not about proving your worth or finding your purpose, but about remembering who you truly are. When we honor this call, we open ourselves to profound personal growth and transformation.
“The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.” – Caroline Mys
What is the Call of Your Soul?
It is simply a journey of transformation. Have you ever felt a deep, undeniable yearning to pursue a path that aligns with your true, authentic self? This is the calling of your soul – a guiding force urging you to share your innermost passions, talents and purpose. But when we take the time to be in silence and listen closely, our soul’s calling becomes impossible to ignore. It pushes us to start on a journey of personal growth and self-discovery, to uncover the gifts we have to share with the world. You will find yourself using your gifts and skills to help others.
What is the Soul’s Calling?
The soul’s calling is about something BIGGER than ourselves. There’s a feeling deep inside that something is missing – a sense that you’re not living the life you were meant to live. It’s a soul hunger, a yearning for more purpose, meaning, and fulfillment. This “soul calling” is a powerful force that compels you to seek out a life aligned with your true self. But paying attention to the call of your soul opens up a world of possibilities. It’s a chance to discover your passions, unlock your potential, and create a life of deep significance. The path is not easy, but the rewards of following your soul’s true purpose are immeasurable. With a positive mindset, you can turn that nagging feeling into a guiding light – one that leads you to a life of greater joy, authenticity.
My Transformation: My Soul Calling
I remember when I was younger, in my 20’s, I felt an emptiness inside that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. I didn’t know what was missing or how to fix it. That’s when I attended a “Cursillo”, a Catholic religious retreat, and everything changed.
It was there that I truly found myself. The experience sparked a spiritual growth within me that set me on a new path. I began studying to become a life coach and trained as a spiritual counselor. Through this journey of self-discovery, I finally uncovered my true purpose – my soul’s calling.
It wasn’t an easy road, but looking back, I’m grateful for every step. The challenges I faced only made the clarity I found that much more meaningful. Now, I’m able to use my virtues to help and guide others through life, others who may be navigating through ups and downs in this journey. It’s an honor and a humbling experience.
