As I get older, I can’t help but notice how time seems to zoom by faster than it did when I was a child. Remember those long summer days that felt like they would never end? Now, every season fly by in the blink of an eye. Christmas comes and goes, summer vacations are over before we know it, and another birthday rolls around far too quickly! At times, I feels like I don’t have enough hours in the day to accomplish everything on my plate.
No one truly knows how much time we have left, it’s up to us to decide what we do with our time. Are we using that time to grow spiritually, personally and professionally? Are we spending enough time or quality moments with our children, parents, close friends, or extending a helping hand to others in need? Do we focus that time on feeding our spirits or feeding our egos?
Let’s embrace each day with enthusiasm! Let’s create memories that last a lifetime and invest our hours into what truly matters. After all, life is too short, live fully and passionately with gratitude! Gratitude towards what we have, and not on what we don’t have. Count your blessings.
What Are We Doing with Our Time?
It’s a question that deserves our attention! In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to find ourselves glued to the TV, binge-watching yet another series or losing track of hours while playing video games. Sure, those moments can be fun, but are they really fulfilling? There has to be a balance.
And let’s not forget about the indulgences—whether it’s eating too much junk food or partying until dawn, these activities can quickly turn into habits that consume our precious “time”. Then there are those long workdays that stretch into evenings and weekends. We hustle hard, but at what cost? Are we sacrificing our family time, joy and well-being for the sake of productivity?
Or perhaps you’ve found yourself in a cycle of doing nothing—just scrolling through your phone or staring at walls. Wasting time might feel like a guilty pleasure at times, but think about how many opportunities slip away when we’re not being productive with our days! Let’s break free from these habits and reclaim our time to do things that enrich us let it be it pursuing passions, goals, finding your true purpose, connecting with loved ones, or simply enjoying the beauty around us. The choice is ours!
Presence Over Presents
We give and receive presents—wrapped in beautiful paper, tied with ribbons—thinking they will express our love – and they do. But, some people try to compensate for their absence with gifts, believing that material things can fill the void of lost time, but in the end, time always reveals the truth—love cannot be bought, and what was neglected in presence will echo in regret. Yet, the greatest gift we can offer is not something that can be bought, but something that can only be given from the soul: our presence.
Presence is love in action. It is being fully engaged with those around us, listening with our hearts, and offering our undivided attention. It is the sacred time, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.

The past is gone, the future is uncertain, but now is where life unfolds. Living in divine timing means trusting that everything happens as it should, but don’t wait too long. If we wait too long to be present, we risk missing the beauty that is right before us.
